PostSubject: What is Rallie race mode?   4/4/2009, 23:08

I made the update to 4.56, I didn't have the "Drag/Rallie race mode" option before, I looked in the manual but it is not up to date. I couldn't find the doc about this new feature, can you help me please?.

Thank you.
Eduardo.

For Rallye mode PCLC set the following options for you :
- Race of 1 laps
- Classement is base on lap time and not a total laps.
- Start race before detector with false start detection.
- All drivers must make 1 laps before starting next heat.

REM:
About Rallye mode: i just found a bug in version 4.56 , i fix it in version 4.56d (look at www.pclapcounter.be)

Guy, what means in PCLC (I know the meaning in English)

- "Start race before detector"?
- "false start detection"?

I will download the 4.56d as you suggested.
Thank you!!
Eduardo.

PCLC will automaticaly set OFF the option "Start race after detector" and set ON the options "false start detection" and "false start also during restart".

Guy, I still would like to know what those Options mean. The two I posted before.

What is the differnce between "Start race before detector" on and off?
Does "false start detection" means that PCLC will penalize, or not, the car that
pass before the light is green?

Thank you Guy.

Eduardo.

Eduardo.

When you set OFF the option "Start race after detector" it mean that all cars will start the race BEFORE the detector, when you set ON it mean that all cars will start the race AFTER the detector.

Yes PCLC will give a Stop & Go penalty, more information about stop & go here:

This answer makes me ask one last question, why would somebody want to start after the detector?, what am I missing?

Thank you.
Eduardo.
